I can’t believe I’m writing this. It’s a dream come true. When I started out illustrating over two and a half years ago, I never (in a million years) thought I’d be designing projects for a big brand like Hema. Not even in my wildest dreams. I’m so excited that this is FOR REAL and I’m so happy to show you this awesome line of products!
I guess this collection launched somewhere at the beginning of August (when I was doing a road-trip overseas in The States). So when I got back this past week, I literally ran off (with a jetlag) to the nearest Hema to check it out live! It was the coolest moment. I still couldn’t believe I made these designs! My artwork for this Hema collection includes handmade watercolor illustrations, calligraphy and hand-lettering. The collection is so diverse! From picture frames to big posters, gift-bags, mugs, magnets, pins (OMG! I love these), cookie jars, little cans, cards, candy jars and even cute chocolate bars. I’d love to show you all of these!
Let’s start off with these posters. My illustrations, patterns and a combination of hand-lettering and calligraphy.
I just love these pins! One of my best gal pals send me a photo of her denim jacket covered with these pins. Made me so proud!
Look at these candy jars! I already started eating from the third jar (I’m a sucker for licorice, it’s just the BEST candy in the world). I made these patterns and the calligraphy and hand-lettering. I totally love this gold foil touch by the way!
A lovely round storage box with this pink watercolor dot pattern next to the donut mug for your morning coffee or tea!
Gotta love chocolate! Next to these, there’s one more chocolate-bar available with a pink dot pattern and gold foil handlettering.
Both this pattern, the calligraphy and camera illustration come from my hand. The same goes for the next cactus magnet! I love this total package!
These DIY scratch cards are such a cool idea by Hema. You can customize them in style! I made all the illustrations and text on these cards.
Yay for these prints! <3
A little wooden photo block with a small collection of donuts and hand-lettering.
I have these two shining in my kitchen these days! I love how these trays turned out!
These little cans can be used for anything small! I keep them for change and my nibs for my calligraphy pens! A new illustration added to this line is this middle food art I made. With all my sushi favourites (of course I added a California roll ;-))
Last but certainly not least. These cookie jars in the signature donut and watercolor line style!
Little did I knew, this collection is also being sold outside the Dutch borders! It’s been the greatest opportunity! I’m beyond proud to work alongside of you Hema!
